WELCOME TO FLETLAND MILL & HOLIDAY HAMLET NEAR STAMFORD
Fletland Holiday Hamlet offers first class accommodation across five properties and sits alongside owners Philip and Melanie Baker’s 18th century Watermill and Manor House. The Sett and The Den are one bedroomed cottages, converted from the old stables. The family-friendly Warren, with three bedrooms, was once the 1750s coachhouse and the Roost and the Holt are three-bedroomed cottages, each with extensive river frontage.
These newly-opened properties sit alongside Fletland Mill, a former grain mill on the banks of the River Glen – the mill provides a further four bedrooms and spectacular views over the millpond and surrounding countryside.
Spacious bedrooms (including four ground floor en-suite rooms), vast living spaces, and well equipped kitchens, provide luxury in a tranquil setting.
The Hamlet and Mill offer flexible accommodation for 2 – 30 guests, and are available for weekends, mid-week breaks or seven night stays, as well as for longer stays by arrangement.
Set within three acres of mainly lawned grounds, outdoor facilities include barbecues, tables and chairs ideal to relax in on those lazy summer days. A further 25 acres of fields and woodland includes exclusive riverside walks. Well behaved dogs are welcome with plenty of walks right from the doorstep.
The millpond and 600m of river frontage provide on site catch and return fishing; the tennis court awaits more energetic guests.
The area offers interesting days out for the whole family with historic Stamford only seven miles away; other nearby attractions include Tallington Lakes, Rutland Water, Grimsthorpe Castle, Woolsthorpe Manor, Nene Valley Railway and Peterborough Cathedral.
